Our data shows that about one-third of the world population has NAFLD. These rates have increased from 25%to 38%over the past 3 decades. Our data shows that Latin America and MENA have the highest prevalence rates for NAFLD. Although these regions are the hotbeds of NAFLD, 25%–35% of the population of other regions of the world also have NAFLD
